Yesterday Jeff and I became the proud parents of three baby chicks. They are my early birthday present! They are currently living in a plastic laundry bucket in our shed so that they can be protected from the elements and the other animals. When they get old enough they’ll move to a pen outside where they will hopefully provide us with fresh eggs, yummy! They are suprisingly easy to care for, all they need is a heat lamp, food and water. Aren’t they cute!!!
